Learning Outdoors

A transformation has been taking place on the Global Convent campus across the past few years. Formerly, we operated within the brick-line boundary of our school, bidding students not to go beyond its border. More recently, our definition of play space has expanded and so has the boundary of our play and learning itself. Playgrounds all over the city are our oyster, our children explore different settings all across the city where their creativity is fostered and they connect with their surroundings.
Our commitment to pairing science education and action (learning by doing), however, is a long-standing one. Across decades, Global Convent students have had access to talented science specialists who have served them in "the laboratory of the world" with water and energy conservation projects.
We choose to be a hearty bunch! We choose to capitalize on the outdoor space we enjoy: a field and track and access to both natural and specially designed play spaces. We are fortunate to learn and grow on our grounds and in our community.
As a school fortunate to be in a diverse and vibrant city, we take full advantage of all that Jammu and Batote offer with learning experiences across settings of our city and town respectively. From trips to the Kala kendra to Politics and Prose and interschool competitions, we provide our students with an education which truly lasts them a lifetime.
